  • 1 cup of white or brown rice;
  • 8 glasses of water.

    Place the water in a pot, bring to the fire and let it boil, then place the previously washed rice. Leave on low heat for 1 hour with the pot covered. Then remove from the fire and let it cool, blend, strain very well and add water if necessary to make it more liquid. 

    To give more flavor to the rice milk, before blending you can add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla or cinnamon extract and 2 tablespoons of honey, for example.

    In addition to this, according to the FDA some of these products contain traces of inorganic arsenic, a substance that can cause heart problems and cancer in the long term, so excessive intake should be avoided.
