1. Pomegranate tea

The tea is generally most commonly used to treat diarrhea, childhood dysentery, intestinal parasites and gastrointestinal disorders. However, it is possible to consume it when healthy to benefit from all its properties. 

Ingredients

  • 10 grams of pomegranate peel;
  • 1 cup of boiling water.
  • Mode of Preparation

    Place the peel in the cup of boiling water. cover and let stand for 10 minutes. At the end of this period, strain and drink a warm cup 2 to 3 times a day. 

    2. Pomegranate juice

    Ingredients

  • 1 pomegranate;
  • 1 cup of water.
  • How to prepare

    Chop the pomegranate and remove its seeds, blend them with the cup of water until all the seeds are split, strain and drink, preferably unsweetened. 

    3. Green salad

    Ingredients

  • 1 package arugula;
  • 1 package curly lettuce;
  • 1 pomegranate;
  • 1 green apple;
  • 1 lemon.
  • How to prepare

    Disinfect, wash, dry and cut the arugula and lettuce leaves. Cut the apple into thin strips and soak in lemon water for 15 minutes. Remove the seeds from the pomegranates and mix them with the green leaves and the apple in strips. Serve with a vinaigrette sauce or balsamic vinegar.

    Side effects

    Pomegranate consumption in large quantities can cause problems such as dizziness and vomiting due to its high alkaloid content. However, when infusions are prepared there is no such danger, because the alkaloids bind to other substances called tannins that are extracted from the tea, removing the toxicity.
