Benefits of Farmers Walk Exercise

Farmers walk is a very popular exercise among lifters and fitness enthusiasts.

They are designed to increase grip strength, build upper body muscles, and improve overall endurance.

However, there are many other alternative exercises that can also accomplish these goals. One such example is the towel pull-up. This exercise will work your biceps, triceps, shoulders as well as grip strength all at once! Another great alternative to farmers walk is the kettlebell clean and jerk which will work out most of the major muscle groups in your upper body including: trapezius muscles (back), latissimus dorsi muscles (middle back), deltoid anterior/medial head (front shoulder), pectoralis major/minor (chest), rectus abdominus (abs), biceps, triceps and grip strength.

This exercise will allow you to work out multiple muscle groups at once while getting the same benefits as farmers walk, but it is also much more fun and challenging! Give these exercises a try next time you are in the gym!
